JomRead: It’s Been 40 Days, What Now?

Yerp, It’s been 40 day since we decided to proceed with JomRead, and as you can see, there nothing much to see.
So here’s a quick head up. First, we got a lot of books; 70 of them. Yeay!
That’s quite a lot considering that we don’t have any members, yet!
And it seems the system development will take longer than expected. And I’m to blame.
My bad…
Rather than developing the website using PHP like we normally do, I’ve been stubborn and used my veto power to stop the development using any familiar language, namely PHP.
Then I code it with Ruby on Rails. A framework I stumbled upon again just a month a go.

Err… No worries, it will be great! I’ll try my best not to screw things up. And I’ll make a nice Error Page just in case you guys screw up the website. LOL.
And that’s about it. Hopefully we can open up beta registration before end of this month. Of course it will be by invitation only.
